Job Title: Support Analyst
Where did you join from? What roles have you had whilst being here?
I joined John West from Data Solutions Ltd. My first role at John West was ISIT Support, which involved offering 1st line support to all four John West offices. More recently I have moved into a Support Analyst role supporting our recent implementation of SAP.
What development opportunities have you had at John West?
Since joining John West I have attended multiple training courses, covering various aspects of IT. These include multiple Microsoft Certified IT training courses and an ITIL foundation certification. Most recently I have begun a level 4 apprenticeship as a IS Business Analyst.
What do you like most about working for John West?
I like most that John West is actively always advancing in terms of strategy and technology. Each day new opportunities arise to learn new things and also to be involved in exciting new projects.
What have you learnt since working at John West?
At John West I have gained experience in different sectors of the IT industry, ranging from infrastructure support to application improvement. My current role in applications has allowed me to be become more analytical in my work and given valuable experience in managing small projects.
What is the most challenging part of your day?
Supporting all four John West offices can be challenging at times, but this has allowed me to gain relationships with all users across different departments within the business.
